Overview
A professional naturalist will guide you on this trek. The entire area of rich humid rain forest is situated above 3193m providing lovely panoramic views of the Annapurna range and Dhaulagiri. The forest has a number of common rhododendron species, providing spectacular views of red and white flowers during spring. It also possesses around 25 orchid species of which Dendrobium densiflorum and Pleion praecox are specific to this area.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu & transfer to Hotel
Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing
Day 3: Fly or drive to Nayapool over night camp
Day 4: Trek to Lespar
Day 5: Trek to Forest Lodge
Day 6: Trek to Ramche
Day 7: Trek to Poon Hill south Kharka
Day 8: Trek to Banthanti
Day 9: Trek to Gandrung
Day 10: Trek to Pathana
Day 11: Trek to Shikhet phedi then drive to Pokhara, after noon free, overnight hotel with bed and breakfast plan.
Day 12: Fly or drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel, with bed and breakfast
Day 13: Kathmandu optional
Transfer to airport for final departure
